We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our landscaping projects. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This is an in-field position where you will be leading while working alongside the crew. You will have the opportunity to work with a hardworking, dedicated crew as well as modern, well kept, industry leading equipment.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping crew
- Plan and schedule daily tasks and assignments for the team
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines
- Perform landscape tasks such as mulching, trimming, pruning, and edging
- Assist with the design and implementation of landscape plans on occasion
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary materials and supplies
- Train new crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 3 years previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Extensive knowledge of lawn care, gardening, and landscape construction techniques
- Proficient in operating landscaping equipment and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly address issues on-site
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
